audiobooks.lk publishes audiobooks, with a free sample of every title. We started in Sri Lanka, so many of our first titles come from Sri Lankan writers.
Why audiobooks
Plenty of people who love stories rarely get to sit down with a book. Audiobooks fit the time we do have: on the bus, stuck in traffic, cooking dinner. Yet many wonderful books have never been recorded, especially from independent authors and in languages like Sinhala and Tamil.
The right voice
A good narrator brings a book to life. Sometimes that is the author, reading their own words with their own pauses and emphasis. Sometimes it is one of our professional narrators, chosen to suit the story. We work with each author to find the right voice for their book.
Who we are
A small team of software engineers who love books. We build the platform and handle production, payments and royalties, so authors can focus on telling their stories.
